I made my first sterling silver ring!

 Start

2 hours work with a metal blade cutting crooked shapes.

So unevenly cut and rough

a mere 5 hrs later - anealed and shaped & filed down

Finish

2 days later - 2 semi polished silver rings, plus wrinkly hands.

Do not underestimate soldering metals, the most fun you can have with a tank of gas and a gun.

What a crate idea

I've wanted a bed made of used pallets since Josh & Jenna from "The Block" made it a feature in their renovated Richmond workman's cottage, slowly i've looked for places to source them but haven't found any suitable yet, the idea of reusing a functional piece of wood brings an industrial yet inviting feel to the room.
